Si arriva facilmente, ma una volta sul posto non si capisce bene quale sia il ristorante e dove sia l'entrata, andrebbe indicato meglio. Servizio un po' lento, stile pranzo di nozze per portare a tutti più o meno contemporaneamente la stessa portata. Siamo arrivati per caso, senza prenotare, abbiamo trovato un menù domenicale fisso, ma senza un menù o indicazioni di nessun genere sulle portate (abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi cosa ci fosse mentre già ci stavano portando degli antipasti) né tantomeno sul prezzo. In questo proprio non ci siamo. Locale molto carino, caldo, con legno e caminetto, solo un po' buio nonostante una giornata soleggiata. Bagni da rivedere.. I punti forti sono la gentilezza, la cortesia nel servizio e i piatti tutti molto buoni. In sintesi un buon posto per un pranzo o una cena tipicamente piemontese, senza fretta e con garbo.

Oltre a un bell'ambiente di altri tempi all'interno e uno spazio delizioso all'esterno, quello che mi ha letteralmente conquistata di questo ristorante è la sua cucina: BUONISSIMA! Antipasti di verdure particolari con accostamenti che fanno felice il palato, ne avrei mangiati sino a scoppiare; primi fatti con pasta fresca e con fantastici accostamenti. Gelato con una salsa di pesche e menta ed una spruzzata di liquerizia che sono la conclusione perfetta di un pasto eccezionale. Le materie sono più che prime: dell'orto accanto, dei boschi intorno, tutto colto dalle mani sapienti della sig.ra Miriam che sa farne magia ( grazie per il timo con cui ho preparato il mio sale) oltre al fatto che la sig.ra Miriam ti può solo conquistare con la sua gentilezza, solarità ed accoglienza davvero unica. La visita al Balmetto ( cosa davvero unica da vedere) è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Una cena bellissima e buonissima che spero di ripetere ancora, magari con un soggiorno nella bella valle visto la nostra lontananza. GRAZIE

Siamo sempre felici quando possiamo cenare dalla sig.ra Miriam che con le sue ricette genuine e originali ci stupisce ogni volta. Dall’insalata di mele al flan, passando per hummus e vitello tonnato ogni antipasto è sempre gustoso e ben bilanciato. Che dire dei primi: un risotto ai funghi spettacolare! Si arriva ai dolci con ingredienti freschi e dal gusto delizioso! Il caminetto acceso aggiunge un tocco di romanticismo.
